Herta was born in Znojno, Czech Republic, on Sept. 26, 1913, to Oskar and Irene Körbel Pater. They lived in Prague where Herta had a clerical position. On Dec. 10, 1941, Herta and her parents were transported on Transport L from Prague to Terezin, Herta as Prisoner No. 210. Then on Jan. 15, 1942, they were all transported on Transport P, Herta as Prisoner No. 834, to Riga, where they all perished.
