About Hillel Janover
Hillel Janover was the Vice-Chairman of the Bilgoraj Council.
He and three other members of the Jewish Council were ordered to compile a list of candidates for deportation to Belzec. All four refused to do so and were shot dead on 3 May 1942. The deportations to Belzec began the next day.
