Miss Hulda Amanda Adolfina Veström, 14, was born 11 July 1897, the daughter of Emma Josefina Veström from Salmunds, Vänge, Stånga, Bjärges, Gotland Island, Sweden.

Hulda Veström's father lived in the USA and her aunt Hulda Kristina Eugenia Klasén had come to bring her to Los Angeles. They travelled via Copenhagen where they bought their tickets, and boarded the Titanic at Southampton as third class passengers.

Both ladies died in the sinking, their bodies were never recovered.

The Mansion House Fund paid 875.52 Kr (£48) to her mother. Damage claims of 455.50 Kr (£25) were paid to her mother on 12 June 1914.
