About Hulda Lammers (Hammon)

Hulda "Tutie" Lammers

Hulda "Tutie" Lammers, of N2286 County Road KW, Oostburg died on Tuesday morning, August 28, 2007, at Sheboygan Senior Community where she had resided for the past three weeks.

Tutie was born on March 24, 1930, in Cook County, Illinois. She graduated from Oostburg High School in 1947. On June 27, 1947, Tutie married Warren J. Lammers in the Town of Lima.

Tutie was a member of the Gibbsville Reformed Church.

She is survived by her husband, Warren of Oostburg; one daughter, Gloria (Bob) Dolfin of Oostburg; three sons, David (Rita) Lammers of Sheboygan Falls, and Robert (Sara) Lammers of Oostburg, Michael (Sharon) Hornes of Cleveland; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Nelda Kappers of Oostburg and Ruth Miles, of Dixon, Illinois; a special step sister, Carol Sandee of Oostburg, nieces and nephews.

Tutie was preceded in death by a son, Carl Lammers; a brother, Frank Hammon; a stepsister, Marie Lardie; and a stepbrother, Miles Sandee.

Funeral services will be held at the Gibbsville Reformed Church on Friday, August 31, 2006 at 1:30 pm with the Rev. Gerald A Dykstra officiating. A family service will proceed in the choir room at 1:15 pm. Burial will follow at the Gibbsville Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Thursday from 4-8 pm, and on Friday, at church, from noon until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in her memory for the Gibbsville Reformed Church Library.

The staff of the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg (920-564-2771) is serving the Lammers family.
