Eighty at Reunion of Carpenter Family
Eighty members of the Carpenter family attended the 43rd annual reunion Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Will Loveland at Wayland. Arthur Carpenter of Corning, was elected president; R. Melvin Pierce, of Canandaigua, vice-president; and Mis Ida Pierce, of Canandaigua, secretary and treasurer. Guests were present from Canandaigua, Naples, Corning, Wayland and vicinity.
A picnic dinner was served on the lawn and games and sports furnished entertainment. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Pierce, of Cheshire road, will be hosts for the 1933 meeting, June 10.
Among those at the reunion were Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Davis, of Naples; Mr. and Mrs. Frank H. Eighmy, Mr. and Mrs. George Pierce, Miss Lena Pierce, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Pierce, Mr. and Mrs. Rollin Pierce and children, Leonard and Christine; Mr. and Mrs. Carlton McMillan and sons, Gerald and Robert; Frank Parker, Mrs. Ida Thomas, R. Melvin Pierce, Ruth and George Sangster. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Pierce and children, Robert, Bernard and Ida Pierce.

WEDDING BELLS
HIGLEY - PIERCE

The marriage of Miss Ida M. Pierce, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon J. Pierce, of the Cheshire Road, and William F. Higley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Higley, of Academy, took place at Reed Corners, Saturday evening at 8 PM in the home of the officiating clergyman, the Rev. Ralph D. Ross, pastor of the Cheshire Community church.

The bride who was attended by Mrs. Gladys Higley Vogt, of Canandaigua, sister of the bridegroom, wore a dark blue printed crepe with a corsage bouquet of pink rosebuds. Her matron of honor was in blue crepe and wore pink sweet peas. Robert Pierce, of Canandaigua, brother of the bride, was best man.

Mr. and Mrs. Higley will live with his parents on the Academy tract. He attended Canandaigua Academy and she was a member of the 1933 class.
