Ilse Krache, greatly beloved mother and grandmother, 88, of Stevensville, died at Community Medical Center in Missoula on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007.
She was born Feb. 19, 1919, in Berlin, Germany, to Max and Elsa Landshut.
Her immediate family fled Germany for Israel in 1934, avoiding the Holocaust. During World War II, Ilse worked as a civilian for the British Army. She lived in Haifa, Israel, until emigrating to the United States in 1950. She worked for many years as a realtor in Riverside, Calif.
Ilse was an active and beloved member of the Stevensville Bible Chapel. She put her trust in Jesus and has now joined the great multitude in heaven praising our heavenly Father and his Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Ilse is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marion and Charles Dresser of Stevensville, and five granddaughters.
