INGELGER d'Anjou (-killed in battle [927]).
The Gesta Consulum Andegavorum records that "Fulco Rufus alium [filium] …Ingelgerium" was killed fighting the Normans[52].
Although he is discussed in the Gesta after his brother Guy, it is likely that he was the oldest son, the first-born rarely entering the church although ecclesiasts may have been given precedence in lists of children in contemporary texts due to their perceived superior rank.
"Falco comes Andecavorum iuvenis" names "uxor mea Roscila et filii mei Guido et Fulco" in a donation of property "pro anima Ingelgerii patris mei et iterum Ingelgerii filii mei et Vuarnerii soceri mei et uxoris suæ Tescendæ" by charter dated 929[53]. "Fulco Andecavorum comes abbas quoque Sancti Albini Sanctique Lizinii necnon et uxor mea Roscilla et filii mei Widdo ac Fulco" donated property to Saint-Aubin d'Angers for the souls of "…Ingelgerio filio meo…" by charter dated to [929/30][54].
