Isaac Meyer K. Ellenbogen was born in 1865 and died in New York in 1947.
By profession he was a real estate broker and the author of a family genealogy titled Chevel HaKesef, printed in New York.
His obituary appeared in the New York Times August 13th 1947.
He arrived in the USA in 1898 and in 1884 married Malka (Molly) Greenberg, a distant relative of the family. (see Chapter 111 - G11.3/ G12/ G13.4/ G14.9).
His poetical abilities find expression in his Hegyon Libi (Meditations of my heart) found in his Chevel HaKesef, and also in Divrei Reb Meir, a book of his sayings printed in New York by one of his sons. It includes a short biography (1947).
