

SUDEIKIS, Isidore "Issy" Gobles
Passed away Sunday, February 26, 2006 at LakeView Continuing Care Center, Lawton. Issy was born November 20, 1914 in Chicago, IL, the son of Isidore and Barbara (Viculas) Sudeikis, and has lived most of his life in the Gobles area, where he loved to work his farm. He was a veteran of the US Army during WW II, worked 29 years for the State of Michigan Department of Transportation, retiring in 1978, and was a member of the Paw Paw American Legion. Issy enjoyed his place on Minckler Lake, where he loved to play horseshoes; he was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, but most of all loved being with the grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Carol (Masiliunas), whom he married January 30, 1954 in Chicago; 1 daughter, Linda Sudeikis of Kalamazoo; twin sons, Peter (Bev) Sudeikis of Allegan, Paul Sudeikis of Fair Oaks, CA; 3 grandchildren, Kevin, Scott, and Corey; 1 sister, Valeria "Vicki" Schmidt of Gobles; several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in law. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Mark; 3 brothers, John, Stanley, and Ray Sudeikis.
