'J. Gordon Young, an insurance broker here, was dead on arrival at St. Joseph's Hospital here Saturday about 1 p.m. after suffering a sudden heart attack at his home, 387 3rd NW (Paris, TX).
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Fry and Gibbs Chapel, conducted by the Dr. James Semple of First Baptist Church, where Mr. Young was a member. Interment will be made in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Young was born 27 Jul 1904, in Deport community, son of the late T.A. Young and Ada Lee Young. He attended public schools at Deport and Paris, moving here (Paris, TX) when he was 14 years old. He was married to Miss Mildred Jackson here (Paris, TX) 17 Sep 1924 (9-17-1924), and they have lived here (Paris, TX) since that time.
Survivors include his wife; an aunt, Mrs. J.T. McCraw of Paris, and several cousins.'
