"Jacob Odom's House South Carolina"

His house was where George Washington spent the night on May 21,1790 on his trip through South Carolina. He was escorted by Colonels Wade Hampton, Thomas Taylor and Robert Lythgoe. This stop is noted in George Washington's diary.
