Parents: Rev. Peter Hobart (ca 1604-20 Jan 1679) and Rebecca Ibrook (ca 1612-Dec 1645)

  1. on 25 May 1664 in Jones River, Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts to Joseph Bradford (1630-1715). [4] He was the son of William Bradford and Alice Carpenter. Jael was his third wife; he married Alice Richards first and Mary Wood second.

  • The will of Jael Bradford of Kingston, widow, dated 25 Mar 1729, sworn 22 May 1730, names (grand)daughter Hannah Bradford, daughter of my son Elisha, grandsons Joseph and Nehemiah Bradford, and granddaughter Uranie Bradford.
  • The will of Joseph Bradford of Plymouth, planter, dated 8 Oct 1712, with inventory taken 27 Jul 1715, names his wife Jael and son Elisha. The will was refused probate following testimony that it was not written according to the wishes of the decedent. [4] (see attached document)
