MIC 637/1 P 60 (PRONI Sep 2001) states he was born abt 1713 and was the eldest son. It goes on to list his wife and children: "Married Ann Blakeley Issue - (1) Mary. (2) John. (3) James. (4) Susanna. (5) Ann. (6) Robert. (7) William. (8) Henry. (9) Elenor."
MIC 637/9 p 40 states he was on Mr Price's rent roll in 1751 for Tullywest, rent 9:4:0. D/671/A3/8 Castlereagh Estate list of tenants - 1770 lists James McGee, Senr - Carrickneveagh - L6.5.10, John Magee, and Wm Magee - 5 Sep 1770; D/240/1 Francis Price Estate Papers - 1751 lists Js Makee out of 11 tenants at Carricknaussnagh (Craignasasonagh) and one of 12 tenants in Tullywest (Tullyvasleycunagh)
