'*James I, King of Scots (Scottish Gaelic: Seumas I Stiùbhairt) was born probably in late July, 1394 in Dunfermline (Scottish Gaelic: Dùn Phàrlain) Palace, Fife, Scotland [1] and died 21 February 1437 at the Monastary of the Friars Preachers, Perth, Perthshire, Scotland, murdered by his uncle, Walter Stuart, Earl of Atholl. [2] He was buried in the Perth Charterhouse. [3] He was a member of the House of Stuart, the Ruling house of the Kingdom of Scotland from 1371–1649. [4]
