Mr Jean Baptist Van Impe, 36, from Bergstraat, Kerksken Belgium boarded the Titanic at Southampton with his wife Rosalie and daughter Catharina. They travelled as third class passengers (ticket number 345773, £24, 3s)

Their actions aboard the Titanic are a mystery. All three were lost and no trace of them was ever found.

Notes Walter Lord (1976) lists him as "Jacob" others have documented his first name as "Jan".
