Note:

• Benjamin Wright came to Guilford, CT, as early as 1645. He moved to Killingworth sometime after 1650, being shown in Killingworth in 1659. His wife was Jane, no surname mentioned (NEHG Reg., January, 1904). That Jane Wright's maiden name was Meigs appears in a number of "Hand" genealogies including "The Hand, Sisson and Scott Genealogy," Carol Clark Johnson, Leconca Publishing, 1981. The Jane mentioned in John Maggs' Will may have been this Jane Meigs, a niece of Vincent Meggs.
