Jean Baptiste was the Supply/Comptroller fo r the French Navy. Jean left his wife, Magdeleline De Richour of Le Harve. She sued him fo r separation of the assets of their community in 1719. The archivist of the cit y of Le Harve who searched the registries of Notre Dame Parish and Saint Francoise Parish, L e Harve, stated in correspondence that this family of Jean Baptsiste Thomas Bordelon was th e only Bordelon family at Le Harve for the period of 1578 to 1792. By 1711 Jean Baptiste Thom as Bordelon was employed at the port of Rochefort, France as "directeur des vivres do la mari ne' of that port. From letters of the court the 1711 to 1712 in the archives of the Port of R ochefort, it appears that Bordelon had left his wife at Le Harve . In 1719 Dame Magdeleine d e Richouf, wife of Jean Baptiste Thomas Bordelon, successfully sued her husband for seperatio n of the assets of their community. Jean Baptiste possible married a third time to Henriett e Rochechouart. At the marriage of Gabriel Laurent to Anne Francoise Roland, Gabriel listed h is parents as Jean Baptiste Bordelon & Henriette Rochechouart.
