**The following information was supplied via a telephone conversation with David L. Tuttle and Annette Williams Tuttle on 5 January 1996: **Information received states that Jennie and David were married August 31, 1928, but in our phone conversation on 2 January 1996, they had told me October, 1928. **When I questioned this, I was told that they are unsure of the exact date and say that David and Jennie ran away and got married.

A FATHER, BROTHER AND NIECE

God came to me and said "My dear; Make those calls, have no fear."
"Whatever happens, this will be; You'll handle it okay, you'll see."

Made one call, two the last was three; "David Tuttle? Yes, it's me."
A kind mysterious, hesitant voice; My heart was pounding, eyes were moist.

I waited three months, no credit card to sell; But I had memories, stories to tell.
A brother searched twenty years, for me it was ten; Our journey beginning, there and then.

Minutes we were strangers, speaking one on one; Sharing sadness, gladness, laughter, fun.
Secrets of a mysterious past; My father was known, now at last.

Two teenage lovers tangled in a web; A sin to society, that's what they said.
The result, a devoted, loving father, friend; An index card, with a message he'd send.

The next few weeks, who could think about sleep; We had questions, promises to keep.
Send me pictures, I'll send you mine; We'll compare, discuss what we find.

The similarities, resemblance, undoubtedly there; Grandparents pictures, I shed a tear.
Two people I should have known a lifetime; Stolen years, cheated, deceived, a crime.

A month after the initial phone call; A visit to Kentucky, I had a ball.
The gathering of my family, birthday cake to eat; No more obstacles, despair or defeat.

Aunts, Uncles and Cousins, how grand; Turn up the music, bring out the band.
Now Daddy dear, you can rest in peace; Cause your little girl is now a Niece!!!
