When she was born, she was given the name Scheindala, but was always called Jenny. Her maiden name, married surname Lompscher and birth date appear in the book "Juden in Chemnitz".

Before WWII, Jenny and her husband had been members of the KDP since the 20's. Jenny survived the Holocaust hiding in a village together with her only son Joachim Lompscher.
