About Jette, from Robert Kahn's autobiography book, chapter #3 page #8 "Though I do recall that grandfather Samuel smoked a very long-stemmed pipe and engaged in bitter arguments with Papa and uncle Moses, and that kindly but ailing grandmother Jette usually appeared before me in an off-white dressing gown and a frilly hood, rather like the grandmother as commonly depicted in illustrations for "little Red Riding Hood".
