Johan Belinfante was born in 'S Gravenhage, The Netherlands in 1902. During the war he was in The Netherlands. Johan was murdered/perished in 1942 in Buchenwald, Camp.

Johan Frederik Ernst Belinfante had a law degree. He lived in The Hague, where he was the deputy director of the ANP. He did the newscast during the Nazi invasion in May 1940. The Nazis held him responsible for the reports about the disguises of parachutists. Johan Frederik Ernst Belinfante was deported to Buchenwald via the prison at Scheveningen, Düsseldorf and Dachau.
