"Died at 'Glen Avon', Somerset on Sunday 18th inst Johanna Christina MEINTJES wife of

Robert HART Jnr at the age of 28 years and 6 months, leaving six young children, deeply

lamented.

July 21 1841". She was buried 'Glen Avon', Somerset East, Eastern Cape of Good Hope.

She was apparently known as Cecilia as this is the name appearing on the family crypt on 'Glen Avon'.
