About Johannes Christoffel Bredenkamp
Johannes Christoffel Bredenkamp (or Breitenkamp) came from Pleiszen in Prussia, Sachse (now East Germany). He arrived in SA in 1763 as a soldier of the Dutch East India Company. He became a citizen in 1778 and lived in Tulbach untill his death in 1810
