(son of Thomas Woodfield and Ann Hasson of Warwickshire, England; former died in 1859, latter in 1897). He was born near Birmingham, Warwickshire, England. Drove oxteam to Utah 1862, Kimball and Lawrence company.

   Married:	Rachel Roylance 1865 (daughter of William Roylance and Mary Yarwood of Ogden).
   Their children:
           Mary Ann, married James Dudman;
           Jane, married William A. Chadwick;
           Rachel, died aged 18;
           Charlotte, married Albert Ward;
           John A., married May Chadwick;
           Thomas A., died aged 30;
           Emily, married Ward Fisher;
           Rosene, married William McEntire;
           William G.;
           Harriet E., married Norton Bowns.
   Family home North Ogden, Utah.

Elder. Settled at North Ogden 1865. Watermaster for the Cold Water Creek Irrigation Company; director and president North Ogden Irrigation Company Breeder of thoroughbred stock; farmer; holds many prizes for the excellence of his wheat and barley; an exhibit of his seeds having received honorable mention at the World’s Columbian Exposition 1893, in Chicago.
