-------------------- John Sleeth was a Scotsman who settled on ___cker's Creek about 1770. His son was David Waldeck Sleeth. His grandson was Henry Waldeck Sleeth. Because both his son and grandson carry the name of Waldeck, it is possible that John Sleeth's wife's maiden name was Waldeck. It is also possible that John Sleeth's mother's maiden name was Waldeck. This is purely speculation.
