THE EAGLE POINT FERRY. -- Mr. John Thorpe (sic.), a farmer living on the Platte, Wis., has recently purchased the one-half interest in the Eagle Point Ferry property and he proposes to put the boat to work at the earliest opportunity in the spring. It is to be hoped that the public needs will be better met at that pass than they have at times been during the two years past. -- Dubuque Times.
