proven descendent 2008 Phyliss Cosby Vancouver Col John Butler other information John first appears on a list of troop and disbanded loyalist in Niagara in 1787. He obtained a ticket for 300 acres from Major Campbell and is registered on lot 13 conc 1 in Niagara in 1795. An early map shows his name crossed out with land issued to Ramsey. In 1796, his eldest son Robert petitions for the certifcate of his [now[ deceased father explaining his father was issued a ticket for land but not a cretificate.
