About John Crysler
John served in the Second Lincoln Battalion and after raising a company of Volunteers in 1806, he was promoted to Captain and served in the War of 1812. John fled with his family from Schoharie, New York to Niagara Township in 1781.He married Elizabeth Mordn, daughter of ralph and Ann. He died on his farm near Four Mile Creek in Niagara Township in 1839.
