bpt. 30 Nov. 1555 Burlingham m. ELIZABETH (3) WOODGATE (d.c.1597) will 10 May-16 June 1600

John was a clothier in East Bergholt, Suffolk. He was evidently a very respected man as many neighbors, relatives and friends trusted him enough to leave the estates destined for minor children in his care and he was named administrator and supervisor for a number of wills including the estates of his father-in-law Steven Woodgate.

Issue-

1. I. John- b.c.1585, m. Elizabeth Holloway, d. 1638. John was probably nearly 21 at the time of his father's death and was left in the custody of a friend Isaac Mitchell to be brought up "in the trade or mystery of a clothier"
2. 7II. DANIEL-b.c.1590,m.c.1615 DOROTHY (2) BARKER, will 1625
3. III. Mary- b.c.1590, m. Thomas Barker, d. between 1639 & 1643. Mary's guardian upon her father's death was Robert Alefounder.
