Buried in plot 113 St Francis Xavier Cemetery, located in the South West quarter of the large cemetery in Urch Street, Geraldton, now refereed to as the APEX Park Cemetery, with father Patrick. Patrick buried in 1880 and John in 1897. In 2001 the Centenary of Federation Pioneer Memorial Wall at the Apex Park in Geraldton was opened. (Cnr Phelp Street and Chapman Road). The historical park is the site of one of Geraldton's first cemeteries and is the resting place of more than 1000 Mid West residents who died during the late 1800s and early 1900s. The Apex Park Cemetery, Urch street, Geraldton, comprises both the Anglican and Roman Catholic Parish Cemeteries.
