John was at Dedham in 1650 and afterwards in Wrentham

MILITARY: Commisioned Lieutenant 29 May 1668; Placed in command at Wells, ME 1675; Called Captain 1690

Came to new England in 1638 with his mother on the ship "Bevis" (ship mastered by Captain Robert Batten.)  Allegiance to Wells 1690.  Had grand of land with brother-in-law John Wakefield in 1641.  He died in Wells.
