• 96(b) Alexander Murray of Wester Aberlednoch and Drumphin, died February 1596. He married Isobel, daughter and heiress of Peter Reidheuch, and had:

• 96(b)1 John Murray of Drumphin, living 1597.
• 96(b)2 William Murray of Wester Aberlednoch and Drumphin. Served heir to his brother, John, 26th March 1603. He married before 12th March 1605 Elizabeth, daughter of Dr Gilbert Moncreifi
• 96(b)3 Alexander Murray, living 1604.
• 96(b)4 Humphrey Murray, living 1623.
