About John Richard (Rev) Farre

JOHN RICHARD FARRE

JOHN RICHARD FARRE (seventh child and sixth son of John Richard and Ann Elizabeth Farre) was born in London between seven and eight o'clock in the evening of the 27th August, 1813 and was baptised by the Reverend Doctor Trollope in Saint Botolph's Church, Bishopsgate, London on the 24th September ,1813.

He became a barrister of the Inner Temple and subsequently took Holy Orders.

On the 17th July, 1845 he married Hannah Maria Best (fourth daughter of John Spooner the owner of large estates in Barbadoes) , who was born about the year 1806.

He died at the age of fifty-five years on the 19th November 1868

Hannah Maria Farre died in her seventy-eighth year, on the 12th February, 1834.

John Pinder Farer the original biographer, makes no mention of any issue.
