I am wondering if you can give me any details on the of the Shields Family of Snake Valley Carnham area around the outskirts of Ballarat- Piggoreet Mortchup etc.
Here's what I know-----
John (Thomas) bootmaker married Elizabeth Harriett Hyatt in Stepney in 1852. They arrived in Victoria in 1854 with one child William 1 year old. They arrived on the "Graham" in 1854. I have found Elizabeth and William on the passenger list but not John (Thomas) Shields.
Do I have the right one's??
I have John and Elizabeth's death certificates which list all of their children.
John Thomas(snr) died 3 April 1881 stomach cancer-- Elizabeth Harriett Hyatt/Shields died 1 Jan 1903.
Their children were were John Caesar and Harriett Elizabeth died in England before leaving.

3.Sarah b 1857
4.Mary Ann b 1859
5.Ann Jane b 1862

7.George b 26 July 1867 married Sarah Young- my great grandparents children were Arthur, Amelia Cecelia ,Esther Elizabeth and William. I am aware of their descendants.
8.Lillian Harriett 1877 married George Young children were Ivy and Irene - .
Most of the children were born around Snake Valley around Scarsdale, Piggoreet- Carngham area.
A Louisa Ann Shields married a William Charles Young in 1911 from the Young family- but as far as I know there wasn't a Louisa Ann Shields in this(my) Shields family group.
So I'm hoping you can give me some more on the Shields kids their marriages and next generation if you can get it.
I know NOTHING of the outcome for
I would like to know some more on the descendants of Lillian Harriett Shields 1877 married George Young children were Ivy and Irene - if you can get it.
P.S.- I'll attach the death Cert of father John Thomas Shields.
Its not sending I don't know why?
Hope you can find abit more for me.
