John STOVER (twin?) was born in May 1653 in York, York Co., Maine. He died before April 12, 1748 in York, York Co., Maine. John was a fisherman, farmer and tavern keeper. In the History of York it was reported that four of his sons were taken during an Indian attack Oct 1705 - ages 3 to 12. Two sons being killed, the fate of the third being unknown. Joseph being the only child, may have returned to York, ME.
