Married: Martha Seed November 25, 1843, Preston, England. (daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Seed of Preston). She was born September 22, 1819.
William G. born August 18, 1848; Elizabeth Ann born June 24, 1851, married Daniel B. Harris; Mary Ellen born June 8, 1853, married William Mocker; Martha Seed born December 11, 1857, married Benjamin B. Heywood; John W. born May 19, 1859, married Josephine King; Alice born December 7, 1860, married Charley Cox; Jane born June 13, 1862, married Harry Aldous.
Family home Kaysville, Utah.
Senior president of seventies 1857-92; high priest; ordained patriarch by George Teasdale December 12, 1896. Pioneer dry farmer. Settled on Kay’s Creek in 1855, and from there moved to Kaysville. Died December 1, 1907. Sources:
