Son of Thomas "The Immigrant" Tibbals and his second wife (name unknown). Baptized Nov 1645 in Milford, Connecticut. Died Derby, CT 1732.

Married (1) Margaret (Tomlinson) Harger, who died on March 17, 1698. She was the daughter of Henry and Alice Tomlinson and the widow of Jabez Harger Sr.

Married (2) Hannah (Rose) Harger. She was the daughter of Robert Rose of Stratford, CT and the widow of Isaac Stiles Jr. and Samuel Harger.
