Diego de Velasco Tremino (Termino / Trevino) born about 1574 possibly at Seville, Spain, died January 1626 in Seville, Spain
He arrived in Guadalajara, Jalisco in 1543/1544 with his wife Francisca de Alcozer and children Francisca de Velasco, Baltazar Temino, Diego de Trevino and Maria Banuelos. Each child had at least one child that was either a Termino or Trevino. Some stayed in Guadalajara others went on to Zacatecas and Northern Mexico.
Trevino Family Genealogy Forum -------------------- unsure if this is the correct profile as the link to the informaation below was not mentioned
Diego is the son of the Condestable: FALSE and this has proved by an extensive research done in the Archives of Salazar y Castro and the Archivo General de Indias. This information has not been taken from wikipedia, it came from real investigation but many people get confused and try to connect Diego by all means. However, I have to mention that both were relatives but not father and son.
His father is Alfonso Ruiz de Temiño, his mother is Sancha de Velasco
The name is Alfonso Ruiz de Temiño in one on of the post - but is all in spanish at - http://www.nuestrosranchos.com/en/node/17931?page=1
