ca 1767 Joseph married Abiah Kirby, daughter of Roger Kirby (14 Apr 1704-12 Jun 1793) & Martha [Kirby]. Born on 7 Jul 1742 in Litchfield, CT. Abiah died in Cornwall, CT, on 7 May 1835; she was 92. Buried in Cornwall Cemetery.
