Joseph was a cordwainer who resided in Swansey and was representative in 1721.

He married Mary Tisdale, of Taunton. She was born in 1686, daughter of Joseph and Mary (Leonard) of Taunton (MA), and granddaughter of John and Sarah (Walker) of Duxbury, MA. She died 3/28/1719. The certificate of his publication which we have in our possession is as follows: "This may certify any whom it may concern that Joseph Winslow of Swansey and Mary Tisdale of Taunton were both lawfully published together at Taunton in order to their marriage. by me, John Tilboro, Town Clerk, Taunton", Feb. 11, 1707-08.

He married 2nd, Hannah Jones, according to Swansey Records.

Administration of his estate was granted 9/4/1727 to his widow, Hannah, but she died before 2/22/1727-28, when an inventory was presented. Distribution was made 1/15/1733-34 to the children. (Rev L. R. Paige, Swansey, MA)
