Katherine T. Meaden

91 formerly of Canton, a resident of Brewster Parke the last year and a half, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2009 following a period of declining health. She was born in Canton, the daughter of the late Eskin and Clara Albright Kuhn and was a 1936 graduate of McKinley High School. Katherine was a homemaker, a member of Reedurban Presbyterian Church where she had been a Sunday School Teacher and was also a Red Cross Volunteer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded after 60+ years of marriage by her husband, George T. Meaden in 2001; daughter, Debarah Hanlin; two brothers, Eskin and Howard Kuhn; one sister, Clara Crewse. She is survived by one brother, Ronald (Irene) Kuhn of Canton and sister-in-law, Dolores Lohr of Canton; nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; and a dear family friend, Matt Guilliouma of Canal Fulton.

Services will be held, Monday, Sept. 14, 2009 at 12 p.m. in Reedurban Presbyterian Church, 1145 Perry Drive N.W., Canton with Rev. Dr. Darrell Holmes officiating. Interment will be made in West Lawn Cemetery, Canton. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Monday.
