Keziah (Kiziah/Kesiah/Kezia) may have been attached to the wrong parents. We are searching for evidence that Keziah is really the daughter of Josias Darby and Henaretta Kephart, which currently seems doubtful. Most sources don't list any parents for Keziah, and she appears 8 years after the otherwise youngest known child of Josias and Henaretta, which is odd. Keziah does not appear anywhere in the 'Genealogy of the Darby Family : George Darby, 1726-1788, of Montgomery Co., Md.'

Jackson Day here contends that Keziah may have been the daughter of Josias and Henrietta, however even in that reference the relationship is merely described as "unproved" but "plausible". Sources are not provided.

This bulletin board message cites correspondence from Ruby Purdum that suggests Josiah and Henrietta as parents, but again there is no source cited to indicate this isn't just speculation.

According to Loretta Purdum the chimney for John and Keziah's house was still standing as of 2004.
