Lady Elizabeth Douglas married, firstly, Alexander Forbes, 1st Lord Forbes, son of Sir John Forbes of that Ilk and Elizabeth Kennedy, between 6 October 1423 and 16 October 1423.[2]

She married, secondly, Sir David Hay of Lochorwart and Yester, son of Sir William Hay of Lochorwart and Yester and Alice de la Haye, after 1423.[3]

She is the daughter of George Douglas, 1st Earl of Angus and Lady Mary Stewart.[1]

From between 6 October 1423 and 16 October 1423, her married name became Forbes.[2]

From after 1423, her married name became Hay.[3]
