About Isabel Seton
Lady Isabel Seton was born on 1 August 1594.1 She was the daughter of Alexander Seton, 1st Earl of Dunfermline and Grizel Leslie. She married John Maitland, 1st Earl of Lauderdale, son of John Maitland, 1st Baron Maitland of Thirlestane and Jean Fleming, before 18 June 1610.1 She died on 2 November 1638 at age 44 in Lethington Castle.
