On Laura MARIANO:

1. She was specially mentioned in Macario "Adriatico"'s biography. This was not a random inclusion because Macario "Adriatico" was very much alive when this was published in 1914, in which case would have passed his table for approval. This reflects knowledge, consent and intimacy of the relationship.

In the same biography, oddly it failed to mention the name of and I quote, "the president and secretary of the Philippine Junior Assembly of the Normal School of Manila comes also from Calapan,"

BUT remembered and proudly mentioned a high school student by name and I quote, "One of the most brilliant young ladies of the girls dormitory, of the same school is also from Mindoro, Senorita Laura Mariano.

2. Her marriage certificate indicated her to be a MARIANO and her father to be Gregorio MARIANO and Maria Monte.

3. She shares same facial features of her mother in the photo.

4. Her name starts with the letter "L" in honor of her grandfather Luciano "Adriatico" MARIANO.

4. Based on historical records, there has been a consistent use of MARIANO to be Laura's surname. Even after marriage, she had carried over her maiden name to her offsprings.
