About Leon (Laybys) Rakower
Rakower Leon
Leon Rakower was born in Krakow in 1870 to Getzel and Sara. He was a business owner and married to Adela nee Silberfeld. Prior to WWII he lived in Krakow, Poland. During the war he was in Krakow, Ghetto. Leon perished in 1942 in Belzec, Camp at the age of 72. This information is based on a Page of Testimony (displayed on left) submitted on 22-May-1999 by his nephew, a Shoah survivor.
