Revolutionary soldier

In [Draper:156] it states the following: "...Levi Baldwin (b. Charlton, Mass. 1717. d. Spencer, June 3, 1790) and Mary --- (b. 1718 d. Spencer Jan. 7, 1795.)" This is obviously incorrect as their son Levi was said to be born May 13, 1798. [VR:Spencer:11] shows Levi's birth: "BALDWIN - Levi, s. Levi and Lydia, May 13, 1798" --------------------

• The Baldwin Genealogy from 1500 to 1881 (1881)

Levi Baldwin, son of Joseph Baldwin and Mary Potter, was b. 1756; settled with his father in Spencer, Mass. Some of his letters to C.C.Baldwin are in the Worcester, Mss. My account of him, however, is from Draper's "History of Spencer." He m. June 25,1789, with SARAH BEMIS. She d. and he m. 2nd Dec. 1790, with LYDIA HAVEN. He d. Feb. 25,1837, aged 82.

Children were (by Lydia Haven): Simon (1792), and Levi (1798).
