Carter's Company, Colonel A. Stearns's Regiment; marched to Williamstown on an alarm, August 22, 1777; service, eleven days; also Lieutenant, Captain James Hosley's Company, Colonel Jonathan Reed's Regiment; re-enforced the Northern Army under Major-General Gates, SeptemberNovember, 1777.
