Llywelyn ap Merfyn

Llywelyn was born about 0880 in Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire, Wales.1 Llywelyn's father was Merfyn ap Rhodri and his mother was <Unknown>. His paternal grandparents were Rhodri (Mawr, The Great) ap Merfyn and Angharad verch Meurig. He had two brothers and a sister, named Tryffin, Iarddur and Afandreg. He was the oldest of the four children.
