About Louisa Vause
Katherine "Kitty" Augusta Jackson. Born 6th January 1845 in Kawhia. An alternate date of birth suggests about 1829 in St Just Roseland, Cornwell. Because if the first date is correct she was 15, and Samuel was 31 when married. She could have also been the housekeeper.
Married 27 October 1860 to Samuel Vercoe in Raglan.
Died 18 June 1927 at Keddell street Frankton Junction, Hamilton. Buried on 19th June 1927 in Settlers cemetery, Raglan next to her husband Samuel.
Parents: William or Samuel Jackson and Louisa Philp. Had a son William Jackson died 22nd July 1898 Raglan-he was 32 and 5 months old at death.
Louisa Philp (arrived ship-Oriental to New Plymouth) later married Mr George Vause.
A separate page is made for Katherine as information about her life is made possible.
Apparently Kitty's mother was Louisa Philp who married twice, to George Vause and William or Samuel Jackson.
George Vause was married to Louisa and she worked as a nurse in the area of Raglan during the late 1800's.
